Thurday, 6-8-06. Warm and sunny
I caught my reflection in the kitchen window this evening, and I think I look my age. It occurred to me while driving home from the folks' that I already had a lot of "adult" habits and mannerisms well before I was into my 20's. This is nothing new, however. Turning 27 this year, I have no regrets, as, unlike most people it seems, I have no weird issues wanting to desperately hold onto my childhood. Growing up, I never felt like anything was slipping away from me that I didn't wish to be gone anyway, and I'm confident that a substantial chunk of my youthful side will always remain an integral part of my personality, regardless. For more on this topic, check back in 30 years.

I was on jury duty selection notice this week. After being strung-along with the "call back tomorrow" phone messages for the first three days, I finally had to scrape myself out of bed at 6:30 this morning and hang out down at the courthouse for selection. Though I'm a full supporter of civic duties like jury duty, I was somewhat glad to have been excused after finding out I was on a reserve list that turned out not to be needed. I'm so tired from getting up four hours earlier than I usually do, however, that I'm not quite sure what day it is. Oh, and my name... I can't remember what my name is. Any help?

I think it's fairly obvious now, but I appear to have lost the drive to post regularly on here. Life has kept me unusually busy and productive this year, and the whole fiasco of trying to integrate Textpattern earlier this year kind of turned me off to "all things website" a bit. So, without any further elocutions, hear-ye hear-ye, I'm going to re-do my entire site before the end of the year... with Textpattern. Now all you stalkers will finally have a voice, and I will finally have confirmation that no one actually reads this thing or looks at anything I post.
