What's in your fridge?
| While discarding stale food from my refrigerator the other day, I was surprised to find that a partially sliced-up onion (which had apparently been in my crisper drawer for several months) had sprouted and grown roots, and that the shoots coming out of the top had broken through the plastic bag the onion was in.
